Merrickville Blockhouse - National Historic Site of Canada

Merrickville and District Historical Society preserves local heritage through artifacts and exhibits at the Merrickville Blockhouse, a National Historic Site. Located on the Rideau Canal, it shares the village’s history and its role in early Canadian defence and community life.

The Museum exhibits are made up of items donated by community members, and reflect the evolution of Merrickville-Wolford.
